Meet Moose! He is a 4 year old, 80 lb Weim/Lab mix. His current family loves him dearly but with four children and two other dogs in the home he is not getting what he needs to be a successful, happy boy. He grew up in a large yard with lots of space to run but moved into a home with a much smaller yard which has been a challenge for him. He needs consistent exercise, training and attention. The following is from his current owner:
He is very smart and loves people (he has grown up with four boys ages ranging from 4-16). He has an affectionate, loving personality and craves attention. He is 100% house broken, crate trained and he enjoys laying around and just being a part of the family. He is happiest running in wide open spaces on nice days (rainy days not so much), he has come accustomed to the comforts of blankets and a nice warm dog bed. Moose also loves going for car rides. His personality is one of a kind, the looks he gives seems like he understands everything that you are saying. Moose is protective over his family (adults and kids) and has a high prey drive (no cats or small animals). Moose is NOT food or toy aggressive. Moose is responsive to the following commands: sit, stay, laydown, Moose, go, dinner, up, come here, potty, bye-bye and easy/nice. Moose’s ideal family would have no other dogs (he likes the attention), kids to keep him busy, a yard big enough for him to get exercise, time to add to his training and time to play and most of all give him the love and attention that he deserves.
