Thinking of Donating and Item for the Auction? It's Easy! ...

You tell us what you would like to donate (see examples below).

You send us a photo of the item(s).
-
You tell us what the opening bid amount should be. Not sure? We will come up with an amount for you.

You tell us the estimated cost to ship the item. Not sure? We will estimate the cost for you.
-
You hold on to the item until the end of the auction.
-
About a week or so after the auction, we provide you with the name/address of the winner to whom you will ship the item.

You ship the item and let us know it’s on the way.

If requested, we reimburse your shipping cost.
That’s all there is to it!
Please let us know about your donation by January 12th, 2026 by sending an email to auction@oregonweimrescue.org with the following information:

A short description of the item(s) you are donating.

Good quality picture(s) of the item(s).

The opening bid amount for each item (optional).

The estimated shopping cost (optional).
Examples of Items to Donate

Donations can be valued anywhere from $10 to $500 or more.

Most any item with a Weimaraner - stationery, pillow covers, pictures, jewelry, coffee mugs … OR the same items with any breed of dog or cat OR without a dog/cat but an interesting design.

Dog supplies (halters, leashes, grooming supplies, supplements, treats, etc). Anything you have found useful in caring for your dogs.

Gift cards for online shopping (Amazon, Chewy, Petco, etc.). These are always popular especially when bundled with a dog toy or other item.

Commissioned or pre-made art or craft. The list of possibilities is endless!

Jewelry, fun t-shirts, blanket throws, unique kitchen gadgets, etc.
Note: Large or heavy items are not recommended due to the higher cost to ship them. And items should be new or in like-new condition.
Another Way to Donate: Contact your favorite vendor/store and ask them to donate an item (we will provide them with a donation receipt). They can send the item directly to the winner at the end of the auction just as you would, or give it to you to send to the winner. You will be our contact for the vendor/store (we will need the same information as listed above).
